YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Taking a break from the excessive heat as our afternoon highs will be below-normal and seasonable throughout the week.

Winds will stay light to breezy at times throughout our afternoon and evening.

Monsoonal moisture is here to stay this week bringing us slightly humid conditions and partly cloudy skies with an increase in rain chances throughout the week.

Make sure to be prepared, greater storm activity and heavier rain is expected in La Paz county as there's a Flood Watch that is in effect until 5 a.m. Wednesday.
