Breezy & windy with normal temperatures

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - We are finally getting back to normal with our temperatures, afternoon highs will be in the mid and upper 90s, and the average for today's date is 96-degrees.

Breezy and windy conditions will be in our forecast for today, with stronger winds this afternoon with wind gusts of 20 to 30 MPH.

Winds will continue to strengthen through the evening, especially in Imperial Valley where gusts could occasionally reach 40 MPH. Be aware blowing dust and sand is possible.

Cooler temperatures through the weekend as we will be slightly below normal by tomorrow. Our temperatures will be on the rise into the triple digits next week, so enjoy this brief cool down.
