Temperatures are on the rise this week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Temperatures are already heating up. We will be even warmer than we felt yesterday as the 90s make a return. Winds will stay light and we will see plenty of sunshine.

A strong ridge of high pressure strengthens bringing the Desert Southwest warmer temperatures and keeping our conditions calm and dry.

Our temperatures will continue to climb this week, and we will feel unseasonably warm with temperatures 10 to 15 degrees above normal. As the week continues, we will feel the heat, and we also have the potential to experience our first triple-digit weather of the year.
