News 11 Weather Authority: Staying below normal

March 8th, 2022

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - As one system has passed the Desert Southwest, another one is on it's way.

Until then, we continue to experience the residual cool air effect through the rest of tonight.

High pressure aloft will push our temperatures into the high 70s for Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the next low pressure system will bring wind gusts, lower mercury numbers and even a slight chance of light showers in some areas.

Beyond this, we'll have a gradual warm-up on the horizon.
