News 11 Weather Authority: Milder Wednesday

March 9th, 2022

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - We're seeing a temperature improvement on this Wednesday, with daytime highs peaking in the high 70s and low 80s in our area.

The quiet and milder feelings will fade quickly, due to another approaching system from the Pacific Northwest.

The low will usher in a Wind Advisory, Blowing Dust Advisory and even an Air Quality Alert in Yuma County on Thursday afternoon through the overnight hours going into Friday.

Beyond this, expect a temperature surge that will carry us close to a 90 degree high by early next week.
