News 11 Weather Authority: Extended cooling coming
March 4th, 2022
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The latest Winter low pressure system has given our area a temperature downgrade on this Friday.
In addition to the breezy to windy weather that have brought gusts between 15 to 35 miles per hour and even patches of unmeasurable rainfall; our daytime high temperatures have dipped from the high 80s to the low 70s in a matter of just a 24 hour period of time.
We could even get a small amount of rainfall on Saturday night, in addition to stiffer wind speeds on Saturday.
More approaching systems should keep our mercury much lower than normal through the early goings of next week.
