Breezy with lots of sunshine

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) Today we are can expect to see clear blue skies and lots of sunshine. Temperatures are remaining in the 70s still slightly above normal our average is 70-degrees.

We will be dealing with breezy conditions for today. We have stronger northerly winds where wind gusts are expected to be 20 to 25 miles per hour. Winds will start to increase later this morning and carry through the afternoon. Come the evening winds will start to calm down.

A ridge of high pressure is keeping us warm, but a lower pressure is going to bring us slightly cooler temperatures starting tomorrow. We are expected to continue to stay in the lower 70s which is bringing us closer to our normal temperatures.

Come Saturday we will see more clouds and a little bit of moisture will enter our atmosphere. The Desert Southwest isn't expected to see any rain however, we are expected to deal with cooler temperatures, more clouds, and windy conditions for Saturday. The main focus for the weekend will be our windy conditions.
