Calmer day expected with warmer temperatures

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) Much calmer day is expected today and we will continue to remain nice and dry.

Temperatures will be nice and cool for the morning and will warm up by lunchtime. Partly cloudy skies this morning and more clouds will move in by the afternoon. Winds will also be light, speeds are expected to be below 10 MPH for both Yuma and Imperial Valley.

Later in the afternoon we will increase in cloud cover and will see mostly cloudy skies. We will see a little bit of precipitation, but not enough to see any rain showers. The Weather Authority Team will bring updates if we see any changes, but rain chances are looking pretty low.

Despite the extra clouds we are staying nice and warm. We will warm up into the upper 70s by tomorrow and then by the weekend, we will cool back down into the lower 70s. Temperatures will still remain slightly above our seasonal average.
