Temperatures near the 80’s this week

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- Temperatures will steadily warm this week with readings making a run at 80 degrees for many lower elevation communities.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a few weak weather systems will skirt past the region bringing occasional periods of high clouds, but conditions should remain dry much of the week.

On President's Day, conditions will remain sunny for the majority of the day, with a high near 78 and North northeast wind at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Clear conditions are expected Monday night, with a low around 54. North northwest wind around 5 mph.

A stronger weather disturbance should enter the region on Saturday providing the next chance for showers and storms.
