FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Hottest days of the week still ahead

Temperatures will continue increasing over the next two days, as skies remain sunny and winds stay calm

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Sweltering conditions are on the way for the Desert Southwest, as temperatures will reach as high as 117 degrees by Thursday.

Winds however, will remain calmer, with speeds not expected back above 15 mph until Saturday.
