YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Excessive heat will continue for the next several days as the monsoon high remains entrenched across the Desert Southwest. The threat of isolated to scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will persist through the week, particularly across the higher terrain east of Phoenix.
