Increasing temps triggering an excessive heat warning for the Desert Southwest, as more winds will be coming as well

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - High pressure will continue to bring above normal temperatures early this week with an increase in moisture likely resulting in isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms across the eastern Arizona high terrain, including parts of southern Gila County.

Hotter temperatures are expected during the latter half of the week with extreme heat risk expected by this weekend.
