FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Rain still coming next week along with more cloud coverage

Winds are expected to remain calm over the next week, as storms are still expected to come to the area on Tuesday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Drying and warming trends are expected over the weekend into Monday. Weak disturbances passing through the western states will bring periods of high clouds to our region. Highs in the lower deserts will be in the mid 60s to low 70s with lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s. The next opportunity for rain arrives Tuesday into Wednesday, though rain chances and amounts look to be quite modest at this time. Highs Wednesday are anticipated to take a dip before warming a few degrees on Thursday. But overall, temperatures will remain seasonal.
