FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Calm winds and lower temperatures expected over the next week

While wind speeds are expected to stay around 10-12 miles per hour, temperatures could drop to the mid 60's over the course of the week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Lingering chances for showers will continue throughout the next couple of days as a weather system moves through. The best rain chances will be focused over the higher terrain with chances decreasing into the lower deserts. By Wednesday night into Thursday, a gradual drying trend will begin and last through the rest of the week, while temperatures trend slightly below normal through the upcoming weekend.
