YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Temperatures got off to a warm start Thursday morning in the low 80's, along with heavy winds.

The rest of the day in Yuma is looking at triple-digit temperatures with a high of 106 in the afternoon and wind gusts that could go as high as 25 mph.

Overnight lows will remain consistent in the low to mid 70's, which will continue into late next week.

The Imperial Valley is similar over the next eight days, with a high of 109 coming on Friday.
