Sunrise Friday morning forecast

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The triple-digit heat trend continues into Memorial Day Weekend in the Desert Southwest starting with an afternoon high of 101 on Friday.

There will also be a slight southeast wind coming in around 5 to 10 mph, but that won't cool anything down with the sun at full force in Yuma and the Imperial Valley. Overnight lows sticking in the mid to upper 60's in both areas.

Temperatures will remain in the 100's all weekend long heading into Memorial Day on Monday.

Following Memorial Day, temperatures will increase even more into a potential 106 degree day in the Imperial Valley next Wednesday and Thursday.
