Warm-up before chances of rain

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- Dry conditions will prevail through the rest of the week and into the weekend with increasing clouds Friday.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), breezy conditions are expected again this afternoon, but mostly across southern Arizona.

Temperatures will be slightly below normal again today and then warming to above normal the next few days, with most lower desert locations reaching or exceeding 80 degrees Friday and Saturday.

A storm system early next week will bring cooler temperatures and a slight chance for precipitation.

The best rain chances will be over the higher terrain areas of Arizona.
