Tamer desert weather

Clear and quiet conditions through the coming weekend

After getting significant rainfall area-wide, the Desert Southwest will be in for clearer conditions for at least the next few days.

A weak ridge of high pressure is settling in from the Inter-mountain West, that will allow our daytime highs to rise into the mid 70's with minimal wind speeds.

This nice phase of late fall weather will hold out close to the Thanksgiving holiday, before another storm system approaches the West.
