Monsoon and dust storms across Arizona

PHOENIX (NBC, KYMA) - Dust storms and damaging wind gusts could be seen throughout the Phoenix area.

The dust storms caused visibility to shrink for drivers on the road, making it nearly impossible to navigate the local road ways.

The chance for thunderstorms were high Sunday evening as well with an active monsoon pattern.

Phoenix saw 103 consecutive days without measurable rainfall on Friday, which is record-setting for the city, reaching its second-driests start of the year.
