Nightly Fireworks to Return at Disney

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KYMA/KECY) - As COVID-19 guidelines ease around the nation, things are getting back to normal at the happiest place on earth!

Starting next month and just in time for the Fourth of July, the skies above Disney theme parks will light up with color once again.

Closing fireworks shows have been a popular Disney tradition since 1957.

Walt Disney called them the perfect "kiss goodnight" after a magical day at the park. The fireworks spectaculars return July first at Disney's Magic Kingdom and Epcot in Florida.

And the fun starts July 4th at Disneyland in California.

Reservations are still required to visit the theme parks.
