YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - The strengthening ridge of high pressure has elevated our daytime highs to the low 100s on this Friday.

Expect that momentum to continue into Saturday, but a disturbance from the Northwest will start ushering breezes and bring temperatures down several degrees by the 2nd half of the weekend.

The aftermath of this will be 90-plus degrees temps through the middle of the 1st week of the month of May.
