National Read Across America Week begins on Dr. Seuss’ birthday

(KYMA, KECY) - Monday, March 2nd, kicks off Read Across America Week and celebrates Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

 Read Across America Day was inaugurated by the National Education Association. It is held on the school day that is nearest to March 2nd which is Dr. Seuss's birthday. Dr. Seuss, Theodor Seuss Geisel, is best known for publishing more than 60 childens' books.
