Fourth coronavirus case confirmed in US
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has confirmed a fourth coronavirus case in the United States.
This comes shortly after a third case was reported Saturday in Orange County, California.
Now a fourth case has been reported in Los Angeles County, and health officials warn people can spread the virus before they feel ill.
The LA Times also reports the Orange County patient is in good condition and is in isolation at a hospital.
The Orange County patient is a returning traveler from Wuhan who is receiving medical treatment at a local hospital, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Both patients are recent travelers to Wuhan China, where the outbreak first began.
CDC says they, as well as close contacts, will be monitored for at least two weeks to check for virus symptoms.
Two other cases have been reported in the US so far-- one in Everett, Washington, and another in Chicago.
China has reported nearly 60 deaths due to the virus since the outbreak began.
