NILAND, Calif. (KYMA/KSWT/KECY) - Over 63 pounds of meth were seized at an Immigration checkpoint near Niland, California.

Authorities say that a 57-year-old man driving a green Ford F-150 truck arrived at the check-point. After K-9 units alerted of the truck, a second inspection was conducted.

That's where agents found packages containing substances that looked like meth hidden in the back part of the cabin of the truck as well as in the front of the bed of the truck.

The drugs had a street value of more than $127,000.

The man, the truck and the packages were all turned over to the DEA.
