Wisconsin tree farm chosen to provide the White House Christmas tree

ENDEAVOR, Wis. (NBC, KYMA) - A Wisconsin tree farm has been chosen to provide the White House Christmas tree this holiday season.

A special visitor from the White House arrived at the Wisconsin tree farm Monday morning with one important task, choosing the official Christmas tree.

Silent Night Evergreens, in Endeavor won the 2026 National Christmas Tree Association contest, earning the Chapman family the honor of providing the White House tree.

White House Chief Horticulturist Dale Haney made the final selection from two finalists.

His choice was a Concolor Fir standing about 30 feet tall.

It will be trimmed to roughly 18 and a half feet before being placed in the blue room.

The tree will be harvested in November, and the Chapman family will travel to Washington to celebrate its arrival at the White House.

This marks the fourth time the family has received the honor.
