Prince Harry makes first public appearance since returning to Britain

LONDON (NBC, KYMA) - Prince Harry made his first public appearance since returning to Britain last month, attending the first-ever Invictus Spirit Awards in London Thursday.

The Duke of Sussex arrived at Greenwich University for a meet-and-greet with guests and supporters of the Invictus movement, which he founded in 2014 for wounded, injured and sick military personnel and veterans.

Harry greeted attendees and spent time with competitors and award recipients ahead of the ceremony.

The appearance comes weeks after harry, his wife Meghan, and their two children returned to live in Britain, more than six years after stepping back from royal duties and relocating to the United States.

The Invictus Spirit Awards celebrate individuals whose resilience and achievements reflect the values of the Invictus games community.
