Tracking slightly warmer and lower humidity ahead

Tracking near to slightly below-normal temperatures for now, but temperatures will warm just slightly above-normal this weekend. I am also tracking comfortably drier conditions starting Friday and through the weekend.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Happy Thursday! Our temperatures have been nice yet again today. Temperatures this afternoon were in the triple-digit and low 100s, which is near average for this time of year.

For the hours ahead, we will cool down very nicely with overnight lows cooling to the mid 70s. We are still going to be a little humid, but winds will be light and skies will be clear. It still should be a pleasant night to be outside.

A lower pressure system is in place keeping our temperatures near to slightly a few degrees cooler than normal.

I am finally tracking drier and more comfortable conditions heading into the weekend. Dew points will finally drop into the 40s and 30s by the end of the week and into the weekend.

For the final days of summer I am tracking lots of sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures along with noticeably dry conditions this weekend. We will also see a few clouds, but no rain and dry conditions will be staying put.

We will kick off Fall, which is next Tuesday at 5:05 pm and we will have nice and seasonable temperatures.

With fall just being 5 days away, that means we are inching closer to all the fun holidays. Take a look at our holiday countdown.
