The U.S. average retail price of gas on the rise again

NBC

(NBC, KYMA) - Gas prices rose by 8 cents over the past two weeks.

The national average price of regular grade gas now sits at $4.18 per gallon.

That's 30 cents higher than prices in the past month and 94 cents more than what the price was one year ago.

However, a turnaround is in the making, according to the Lundberg survey.

Claims of an imminent agreement between the u-s and Iran are a heavy day to day influence on oil prices, which are down sharply in recent days.

And with many wholesale gasoline prices dropping fast it looks like consumers may see a drop of at least a dime very soon.
