CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Bear locked in a car

GOLD HILL, Colo. (NBC, KYMA) - Some folks in Gold Hill, Colorado awoke to a wild surprise Sunday. A bear had somehow broke into a car and became locked inside.

According to the man who the cellphone video, they thought a rude neighbor was honking a horn all night.

But it turns out it was this would be thief whose escape plane was thwarted.

A long rope did the trick, opening the door and allowing the bear to get out out and flee back into the woods.

The intruder did damage to every side panel in the car, and even set off the driver-side airbag.
