Tracking seasonable temperatures and humid to start the week

Still tracking humid conditions with a slight chance for isolated storms. Temperatures will stay seasonable for now, but extreme heat will be making a return later this week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Happy Monday! The humidity is still here, and it will continue to stick around this week. Dew points won't be as high like it was last week, but we still will be feeling a touch of moisture.

Tracking higher humidity expected to join later this week.

Temperatures haven't been as hot, and it actually has been seasonable. But it will still be a warm summer evening ahead. Great for an evening swim or to go out for some ice cream to cool off.

Tracking monsoonal moisture lingering around the region, which will lead to rain chances the next few days. Higher and greater chances will favor east along with flooding concerns.

On our fututretrack hour-by-hour, there are chances for isolated showers and storms that could pop up in the area.

Keep in mind if a storms occur, it could lead to heavy rainfall, lightning, and chance for gusty winds. Always be storm ready.

An Extreme Heat WATCH is already issued for extreme heat and major heat risks across the Desert Southwest. This is issued 10 a.m. Wednesday until 8 p.m. Monday for the Desert Southwest.

This will most likely upgrade into a warning as time gets closer.

Tracking seasonable and slight chance for isolated showers and storms for the next few days. There are also slight rain chances for Thursday along with more rain chances as well.

Temperatures are slowly going to climb, leading to extreme heat later this week and for the weekend ahead.
