Slim Chickens opens its doors in Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The restaurant Slim Chickens has opened its doors in Yuma on Monday, bringing a taste of Southern hospitality to town.

The new location becomes the fourth franchise branch in the state.

Hand-breaded chicken tenders, sandwiches, and delectable desserts are the restaurant's specialties.

The owner says that more than 150 employees are prepped and ready to welcome you with Southern comfort.

"Best chicken around, tons of options on our menu, and our crew here is just killer. We are so excited to have everyone here…We decided we wanted to be right in the town of Yuma, cater to the people who live here in Yuma, so we're here to stay," says Lucas Barnett, Owner of Slim Chickens Yuma.

The restaurant is located on 4th Avenue and 16th Street.

It's open everyday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and offers drive-thru, mobile orders, and pick-ups.
