Yuma Taekwondo Center – Local families are invited to test their Ninja skills

The Yuma Taekwondo Center is hosting its Ninja Night on Friday, May 27

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - With summer just around the corner the Yuma Taekwondo Center wanted to invite the public to see what they're all about. So, they put together an evening filled with family fun and a movie to top it all off.

On Friday, May 27, at 5 p.m. families are invited to the Yuma Taekwondo Center (661 E. 18th Place) on 18th Place just east of Arizona Avenue. Once there, parents and their children will face off in the ancient game of dodge ball.

The night will be filled with a variety of games and finished off with the movie about the rise of Kung-Fu Master Po in Kung-Fu Panda 3.

YTC Main Instructor Quinn Perez hopes this event will introduce families to the benefits of Taekwondo. Perez says that martial arts are more than just learning to defend oneself.

Perez explained that learning Taekwondo means learning to control yourself.

Ninja Night is a free event but they will be accepting donations.
