YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - This week's Military Matters spotlights U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Bence Andrasi of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma.

Andrasi is an F-35 powerline mechanic, Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 211 (VMFA-211), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing at MCAS Yuma.

His responsibilities as a powerline mechanic are to support fight operations by working on fuel and engine systems of the F-35B Lightning II.

Andrasi is from Apple Valley, California, and in 2020, he was deployed with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, West Pacific 21-1.

He has been in service for four and a half years and joined the Marine Corps to better himself and start a career.

Andrasi says his motivation is his fellow marines and enjoys playing video games, going off-roading, and hanging out with friends.
