Owner of The Flower Mine on how they’re getting ready to celebrate Mother’s Day

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Showing love to the ones who help keep families together as Sunday is Mother's Day.

Mother's Day is dedicated to honoring mothers and the influence of maternal figures in our families.

Whether it's your mother, stepmother, aunt or someone who has been like a mother to you, Mother's Day is a chance to thank them for all they do.

Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May.

Over at The Flower Mine, owner Mike Esquivel shared how they are getting ready to celebrate mothers this holiday.

"It's a long process...it starts maybe like go back two months because you gotta place your orders with your vendors at least you know a month 30 days 45 days, but then...you have to prepare for things you gotta pre order...so it's a long process and it's long hours," Esquivel explained.

Flower shops and stores all across Yuma will be available to help anyone looking for last minute gifts while supplies last.
