Brightside: State Troopers save owl

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - Idaho state troopers can add "great horned owl" to their list of saves.

Concerned drivers alerted police that the bird was caught in plastic next to the interstate and that's when Sergeant Crapo kept the owl safe from traffic until animal experts arrived.

The bird is doing okay and was released away from the freeway.
