YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)-  It’s time to meet our pet of the week. 

Meet George! 

George is an 8-year-old male senior domestic shorthair cat who weighs 12 pounds. 

George is looking for a quiet place to call home and is happiest lounging on the couch and spending time with his people. 

George is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive, which means he would be best suited in a home where he can be the only pet or live with other FIV positive cats. 

FIV acts like a very slow-motion cold and cats can carry the virus for many years without ever getting sick. 

George has so much love left to give and is ready to spend his golden years in a home filled with comfort, kindness and plenty of cozy places to nap.
