Chef Lucy teaches us how to make spicy pickles

Spicy pickles help and ease muscle cramps 

(KYMA, KECY ) - Chef Lucy teaches us to make a side dish that will pair well with sandwiches and seafood.

Spicy Pickles

  • 2 pounds of pickling cucumber
  • 1/4 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cups white vinegar
  • 1 cups water
  • 5 tbs kosher salt
  • 2 tbs pickling spice
  • 1 tbs turmeric powder
  • 1 tbs dried oregano


In a large stock pot bring the vinegars, water and salt to a simmer.
Add pickling spice, and Kosher Salt, Turmeric and Oregano for about 20 min
Turn off stove and let it sit for about 15min covered.
While waiting for brine to reduce temperature cut Cucumber as desired and place them in a
Container Add garlic Cloves and Sliced Serrano Chilis.
to try them the same day but get even better over time.
