Naturals Baseball to represent Team USA in Mexico, launches fundraising effort

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Naturals Baseball Academy has earned an invitation to represent Team USA at an international tournament in Mexico in February 2026 and they're calling on the community for support.

The Yuma-based program focuses on developing athletes to compete at high levels, preparing them for the next steps in their baseball careers.

This upcoming trip will give local players ages 12 to 14 a rare opportunity to compete against international talent.

"This one is we get to be a Team USA down in Mexico," a team representative said. "Looks like we're gonna be playing their national team, that type of thing, and that's gonna be for 12 to 14 year olds, so it's gonna be a huge opportunity for those kids."

The team is currently fundraising to help cover travel and tournament expenses, and also looking for local players to help represent.
