Calipatria boys hoops falls in CIF Championship

Calipatria's historic season comes to an end in the CIF Championship.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Del Lago Academy Firebirds defeated the Calipatria Hornets 59-43 in CIF San Diego Section Division V Championship on Thursday.

This was the first time in over 30 years the Hornets made it to the CIF championship game. Calipatria ends the season at 21-4.
