Shamrocks skid continues, lose third straight

Yuma Catholic falls to Parker on Tuesday, fall back to .500 on the season

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - On Tuesday night the Yuma Catholic volleyball team hope to snap a two game losing streak against the one win Parker Broncs. That didn't go according to plan as Parker came away with a straight set win 26-24, 25-21 and 25-16. The Broncs brought more energy and passion and were led by junior Amaya Carter.

Yuma Catholic was led by Rian Martinez who finished with 11 kill and four aces. Reese Sellers added 10 kills. Jessica Kershaw pitched in with 11 digs and 19 passes.

Dusti Williamson's squad drops to 4-4 on the season after starting 4-1. The Shamrocks head to Chandler this weekend for the Epic Tourneys Volleyball Invite.

Meanwhile, Parker won again in straight sets on Wednesday night over River Valley. After a slow start, the Broncs have won two in a row and improve their record to 3-4 on the season
