But their lives away from the rink humanize them to players and coaches and make the entire game go smoother. Corey Syvret is a former player transitioning to the job he never knew he wanted. Garrett Rank is a mid-amateur golfer who qualified for the 2018 U.S. Open. And Ryan Daisy fresh off his first Stanley Cup Final likes getting away from the microscope in the offseason.
