Gila Ridge boys basketball takes down crosstown rival Kofa on the road

The Hawks come away with their third win on the year along with their third in the last four games played - 13 On Your Side's Luis Lopez reports

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Gila Ridge boys basketball defeated Kofa 56-45 at Rillos Gym on Wednesday night.

The Hawks win is just their third overall on the season, but they have all come in their last four games.

Kofa meanwhile drops to an even 8-8 on the year, also snapping a two-game win streak.

Gila Ridge will next be in action when they face the San Luis Sidewinders at home on Monday, Jan. 30.

The Kings will look to get back over .500 when they take on the Youngker Roughriders on Thursday Jan. 19.
