Kofa volleyball drops match in four sets to Glendale

The Lady Kings are still looking for just their second win on the year as they drop a match to the Glendale Cardinals - 13 On Your Side's Luis Lopez reports

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Kofa volleyball lost to the Glendale Cardinals at home three sets to one on Thursday night.

After dropping the first set 25-17, the Lady Kings would make things interesting in the second set.

Down 18-10, Kofa rallied for five consecutive points to cut the lead down to just three at 18-15.

The run included two aces for Kings senior Athena Sandoval.

However, that momentum wasn't enough for Kofa to get what would have been just their second win on the season.

Head coach Timothy Morrison's squad will next be in action against Cibola on Sep 28 at home.
