3 in a row for YC baseball

The Shamrocks hammer Tonopah Valley

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Under Interim Head Coach Judd Thrower, Yuma Catholic baseball is seeking some mid-season momentum.

They would find it on Thursday afternoon, as the Shamrocks blew out the Tonopah Valley Phoenix by the score of 14-0.

Star pitcher Issac Araiza pitched a complete game shutout, notching 10 strikeouts along the way.

Meanwhile, Alan Cuen was one of the Rocks that had a solid outing with his bat, going 3 for 3 at the plate with 2 RBI's and scoring 3 runs in the win.

This is YC's 3rd consecutive win as they remain tied for the lead in the 3A West Section.
