ASU Football in hot water

Program under investigation over alleged recruiting violations

TEMPE, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - The Herm Edwards era with Arizona State Football might be taking a dismal turn.

ASU has publicly confirmed that the football program is under investigation by the NCAA over alleged recruiting violations.

According to NBC Sports, Sun Devils Football under Edwards as the head coach, has allegedly violated recruiting restrictions set in place by the NCAA during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Reports have surfaced that a whistleblower within the program has turned over evidence that reveal those violations.

Edwards is a former NFL head coach with stints in New York and Kansas City, who has created and implemented the pro model structure for ASU Football in his 3 years as the program's head coach.
