A good weekend for local sports, indeed.

Imperial Valley native and the first Mexican-American heavyweight champion of the world, Andy Ruiz Jr. returns to the ring for a rematch against, Anthony Joshua. The match will be held, Saturday, December 7 in Saudia Arabia.

The Southwest Rotary classic day two action consisted of competitive matches between schools all over the west. Cibola took he win against Shadow Ridge in a formidable manner, while San Pasqual had San Luis on edge to also take the win.
