AWC’s head coach resigns

After two years, the Matadors Women's soccer head coach, Nicole Acosta has officially stepped down.

She announced her resignation on Twitter and shared about her experience at Arizona Western College.

Acosta led the women's soccer team to a historic 2018 season and a National Junior College Athletic Association tournament appearance. She also led the Mats to their first-ever conference title.
This past season she also led the lady Mats to the Region 1 championship for the second consecutive year.
