Queen Latifah to join ‘The Voice’ as a coach

(CNN, KYMA) - Queen Latifah is joining the next season of "The Voice" as a coach.

The Grammy-winning singer and actress is joining fellow coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and country singer Riley Green.

"Royalty has entered the stage. Welcome Coach Queen Latifah to The Voice," the show wrote in a post on Instagram.

News of Latifah's addition comes days after NBC announced Clarkson was returning next season.

Clarkson, who was the first winner of "American Idol," has coached 10 seasons of "The Voice."

The 30th season premieres this fall.
