Singer Dua Lipa sues Samsung for using likeness

(CNN, KYMA) - Pop star Dua Lipa has filed a $15 million lawsuit against electronics manufacturer Samsung.

According to Variety, Lipa accuses the company of using her likeness to sell TVs without her permission or payment.

Lipa filed a complaint Friday regarding the use of Lipa's image on some cardboard packaging for certain televisions starting last year. The complaint also says lipa owns the rights to the picture used on the packaging.

Samsung did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
