Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni settles legal dispute

(NBC, KYMA) - A high-profile legal fight in Hollywood has come to an abrupt end.

The legal dispute between "It Ends With Us" co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has been settled, canceling a trial that was set to begin this month.

The agreement follows a court-ordered settlement conference, though details of the deal have not been disclosed.

Lively had accused Baldoni of sexual harassment during production of the 2024 film, along with claims that his company retaliated after she raised concerns about on-set conduct.

Baldoni denied the allegations, and both sides had been preparing for a courtroom battle.

Last month, a federal judge dismissed most of Lively's claims, allowing only a limited number to proceed.

The case, which began with a civil rights complaint and later expanded into federal court, also prompted countersuits from Baldoni, including claims of defamation and extortion involving Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

The dispute drew widespread attention across the entertainment industry, revealing private communications and internal studio discussions.

With the settlement now in place, the case concludes without a trial.
